All the drawings/paintings show him as being 20-ish or 30-ish. Chances are he didn't reach 40. That might have made people conclude that he died mid-30s, and they chose 33 as it's easy to remember. Regards, Nish

When I was 6 years old my beautiful blonde teacher told us he died at 33. So, it's true (you had to see her, she was sooo beautiful).
