I'm taking a day trip up to Los Angeles today with my parents. Dad's got some business up in the Glendale office, and he invited Mom and I to drive up with him. Tomorrow, I'm going to a friend's high school graduation. Other than that, nothing much. Worrying about my grades for this quarter too...those will probably come in on Tuesday, though. So I'm not fretting over them too much.
And when we saw the computer, when we saw its code - and Turing saw it first - we were looking at complexity incarnate. And then suddenly we saw complexity everywhere. It materialized, it crystalized around us - even though it had always been there.
We have yet to recover from the shock. -
Dude...someone showed me a collection of fight scenes from that the other day...holy crap. :omg: I'm in Kempo, so I know martial arts...but wow, that guy was doing some amazing stuff. I love how he got cornered against a wall, so he hopped up and ran over his enemies' shoulders.

Weekends are great - I get a chance to stop programming for a bit, and, well, do some other programming really. Actually, I do half a day on the property, half the day doing something with the kids, and the rest is spent in the office, on the PC. I'm going to an antique car and plane show tomorrow. I'll spend a good bit of the weekend finally getting back to learning C#, doing house chores, reading, and trying to avoid my neighbor who's building a fence this weekend. BW

Home improvement project. Finish window casings, crown molding, etc. I have a couple hours of wood cutting and hanging left, then I get to prime and paint it all. Spot paint in the baby's room - walls are marked up from my first child. I have to make it look nice for the second child now. Lawn work - mow, weed & feed, grub killer. Work I have a lot to get done before they baby comes.

Is that to keep you out?
:-D Hadn't thought about that. He claims it's to keep the kids in, but you never know. BW

Hectic sailing. We are going to Wales next weekend and Genoa is only a few weeks way. Got to be prepared. So much for relaxing. The missus is away though so evenings should be quieter. regards, Paul Watson Ireland FeedHenry needs you
eh, stop bugging me about it, give it a couple of days, see what happens.
