    Microsoft has pre-released the .net 3.0 framework today: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8d09697e-4868-4d8d-a4cf-9b82a2ae542d&DisplayLang=en on the bottom in the "Related Resources" they have link for pre-releases for the SDK and VS 2005 extentions also.

          MFC will be updated by the Orcas time frame (that's what I've heard anyway), but Orcas is post-Vista. Regards, Nish

                  Last update did add MFC-WinForms interop helper classes. I am assuming that in Orcas, they'll have similar wrappers for interoping with Avalon. And there'd most likely also be wrappers for some of the new Vista native stuff - like the task dialog. Regards, Nish
