If you're a coffee drinker, where do you get the best cup of coffee? Do you make it? A particular cafe, diner, coffeehouse?

Olive branch coffee, local place. Depending on my mood, Black Jet, Pinon, Kokopelli Koffee, White Sands blend. But since all of those moods are the darker coffee, I guess you could say I always prefer a dark rich flavorful coffee. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. My favorite is to use Illy espresso coffee beans, spring water, and a dash of cinnamon on the grinds. Once it's ready, get some International Delight creamer (vanilla or hazelnut flavor) in there and...yummmmy! :-D Josh

I see it more as allocating most of my waking hours to writing code, although I'd be the first to admit that's probably not a very healthy lifestyle. :) But to answer your question, my favorite blend is rich Columbian, with hazelnut being a close second. /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Music | Articles | Freeware | Trips ravib(at)ravib(dot)com

Are you spending your waking hours writing a program which will write all other programs that you will ever need to write? If so, you would not only be extremely lazy, but extremely smart too! :-D

They are number 2 on my list. I don't, however, like or appreciate their flimsy attempt to be 'hip' like Starbucks by having cappucinos, mochas, etc. D&D sucks in that department, but they rock in the Plain Coffee dept. :D josh

Cool! I'm always impressed by people who create and support freeware. Kudos :rose:

I drink Folger's Premium Roast at home. On the road, Starbuck's (with a Strawberries and Creme Frappucino if the weather is hot).

I don't like brewed coffee, but I love iced coffee. Yum. I once was in line at a shop behind a girl that ordered something like a "short decaf non-fat no-foam latte". I was tempted to ask her "what's the point? why not just drink a cup of milk?" ;)

Because they don't serve milk at coffeehouses!

I used to go to a local drive-thru beverage hut called the Liquid Highway in Greenville, SC. They have some of the best coffee I've ever had, but I'm not sure what kind it is. I usually just buy Eight o'Clock coffee at home these days; cheap and tastes decent. There's a local roaster, Little River Roasters, in town whose coffee I drink at the cafe sometimes. Not too shabby, but I don't go out of my way for it, not like Liquid Highway's mojo. BW
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

And they kick Krispy Kreme's ass in the douhgnut making dept. as well. BW

1. The Brown Cow, Hampton St, Hampton in Melbourne, Australia. 2. A little cafe (forget it's name) just near the intersection of St Kilda road and Punt Rd. Again, Melbourne Australia. All others are mere shadows, mere imitations. Mere reminders that what you are drinking is not coffee but a pale insipid pretence. cheers, Chris Maunder

Unfortunately I'm going to have to defend her on this one, point by point. 1. Short. I remember having a conversation with the server at Starbucks regarding how their "small" coffees are actually their "tall" coffees. I just want a quick cuppa, so it seems a normal (to me) sized coffee is actually a short. Why not just use the old fashioned small, medium and large? 2. Decaf. Acceptable after your 3rd cup of the day or after 6pm. Before that, as you say, hy bother. 3. Non fat. When the choice is that 15% fat cream or non fat I know which one my arteries are asking me for. Maybe she's lactose intolerant. OK, a weak defense... 4. No foam latte. In Australia these are called "flat whites" and are what a Real Coffee should be. cheers, Chris Maunder
