Actually, I think he was talking about these terrorists My mom told me once that "while we all don't speak the same language, everyone in the world undestands an asskicking"
Yeah, I suppose too he was not talking about these ones[^]. As treason, terrorism is a matter of dates.

At least on TV[^]. So, how long until the next round of wailing and moaning about imperialist aggression? Or maybe we can sit on our collective arses for the next 10 years like we did with Afghanistan, while the majority of human rights NGO's bang on about Israel running the Merkavas too loud and keeping the terrorists awake. OK, I hate football enough that I can see their point, but Jesus, what a bunch of wankers. You know what though, fuck em. Dont watch TV, dont use the Internet, dont use mobile phones, dont use anyhting the 'evil west' created. Who gives a toss? I dont. They can just go back and live in the fucking stone age for all I care. Oh, and as for the Arab-Jew problem in Palestine? Give them all plenty of guns and semtex so they can remove their stupid/biggot gene from the collective gene pool before they reproduce. Nunc est bibendum -- modified at 11:05 Thursday 6th July, 2006

I know you have difficulties to understand this, but sometimes things are not either black or white but in a shade of grey.

And sometimes they are clearly black and white - such as a picture of a six year old throwing something at a tank. Six year olds don't do stuff like that on their own. It was staged, at the risk of the child's life and you posted it to promote your world view. That tells me everything I need to know about the morality of your politics. When you're right, you're right. We should indeed. In fact, it would probably have been a great idea to have attacked Somalia first. We could have armed and trained the indiginous population there, and used them to invade Afganistan and Iraq. I'm sure they would have loved a little tit-for-tat. "You get that which you tolerate"

It would give more credibility to the "free oppressed people from their dictators" angle; it seems like Iraq was only "freed" because of oil money. As much as I criticize the USA for their wrongdoings, I know that they'd never do something as stupid as shoot people for watching a freakin' football match on TV. The Islamists are a sad bunch though. :sigh:

Israel is fighting to survive, but so are the Palestinians. Sending helicopter gunships to blow people up is effectively the same as sending young people wearing explosives. Neither is in the right. The Roadmap to Peace was a fantastic idea because it was balanced. I'm surprised and impressed that the US government thought of it and (in my opinion) it's the fault of the people in the Middle East that it didn't work.

You'd think that after their whole culture was persucuted by the Nazis that the Jews would be more understanding, but it seems that they are doing the same thing Hitler did. That's hypocrisy and using guilt over the Holocaust does not excuse it.

No, the sad part is that is people believe that merely because that want to believe it. Frankly, I wish we had done it for oil. "You get that which you tolerate" -- modified at 7:29 Thursday 6th July, 2006

Egypt is doing pretty well. Its got a good car economy business you know. Tronché pas ma miche!
There's some pretty serious political repression in Egypt, applied to both democrats and Islamists who don't toe the line. But yeah, it's no Syria or Iran. http://www.sandmonkey.org/[^] makes good reading. Ryan

Well, its their country, and if they outlaw homosexuality, it is their choice. The UK outlaws paedophilia, New Guinnea doesnt. Does that make the UK less funcitonal? I take funcitonal to mean self sufficient in terms of wealth production (which Palestine isnt. It is totally dependent on US and EU aid). Trade with neighbours and stability of government (somewhat goes with the first 2 points). Tronché pas ma miche!

Ah, substitute 'functional' for 'liberal democratic' and we will probably agree. Ryan

There are certainly some hard line Jews who would like every Arab removed form Palestine. But I dont think the will go about it with Zyklon B. Of course, the fact that Mein Kampf is one of the most popular books in Palestine isnt helping the situation. Tronché pas ma miche! -- modified at 8:38 Thursday 6th July, 2006
