If you happened to post your 1000th message quite close to your one-year anniversary, you'll only be 'Silver' for that brief period of time between the two events. The ranks are computed by a scheduled job that runs every night if I recall correctly, so if both events happen on the same day you'll go straight from Bronze to Gold. I think I was Silver for about a week or so after the one-year anniversary and before the 1000 messages. Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder

Most of us are here for the same reasons. We feel the need to give back to the community because it sure helped us a lot. The Lounge is the heart of CP and it's a place where people chill out. well in fact i see most members in this site although sometime I am in Visuall C fourm but see conversation between peoples I said to you one thing and thats right and you are a good man,and you are a good programmer i dont know what do you think about me but these are right when i see your answer i see that it was a hard work that you can answer to question good, of course in this site are professinal programmers but i want to say these and i guess that now is a good time. today was a good and bad day for me I cant see my profile or all profiles._**
