If you happened to post your 1000th message quite close to your one-year anniversary, you'll only be 'Silver' for that brief period of time between the two events. The ranks are computed by a scheduled job that runs every night if I recall correctly, so if both events happen on the same day you'll go straight from Bronze to Gold. I think I was Silver for about a week or so after the one-year anniversary and before the 1000 messages. Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder

Most of us are here for the same reasons. We feel the need to give back to the community because it sure helped us a lot. The Lounge is the heart of CP and it's a place where people chill out. It's sort of a vacation for the geeks of us, so feel free to visit more often. Best of luck! Btw, there's no need in calling me titles.
