What to do on a cold winters' night

People are supposed to care for animals, as pets, livestock, wildlife, whatever..
Like the rabbits that was fed to the snake for a meal? Give me a break. Oh sure, but it's food. But people have more sympathy for a stupid snake than someone dying over a darwin award. It's sick. The point is, people/species are supposed to take care of their own first. Jeremy Falcon
The owner made the choice to keep the snake as a pet for his own entertainment. He has a responsibility to look after it. If your dog is hit by a car you take it to the vet. If you leave it to suffer it's a criminal offence here as it should be. Objects in mirror are closer than they appear

People watch movies for entertainment as well. My point is, you can't really compare life like that.

Just like people have a responsiblity to look after other people before other species. Which was my point, we put more empahsis and sorrow on pets doing stupid shit, but yet laugh at the darwin awards.

No it shouldn't. It should be more a crime to let children starve in poor neighborhoods while we fuss over a stupid snake. Jeremy Falcon

Its really very simple. If you choose to keep an animal you have a responsibility to look after it. Objects in mirror are closer than they appear
To that extent I can see. My point is I don't see the fuss over it. It's not even worth a news story IMO, we have bigger fish to try ya know. Jeremy Falcon

99% of whats in the news is rubbish. Did you know the Australian Army deployed to West Papua a couple of months ago on a peace keeping mission because the Indonesian government is starting to crack down on the independance movement there? My mistake, its East Timor our troups are in because of the change (overthrow?) of government there. Objects in mirror are closer than they appear -- modified at 23:22 Thursday 20th July, 2006

I didn't hear about it, but I do think this issue is more important than reading about a snake eating a blanket. And this is only proving my point. Jeremy Falcon

Exactly 99% of news is rubbish. Its not about what is important to you, me or the majority its about what makes money. Capitalism at its best.

Its proves a point you made later that this is perhaps not news. Your original point was
