It's just another example of MS copying off of Apple, but they did a lousy job with it. And yeah, I had to. :-D

(I've lost the name of the one I was using... so looking for new suggestions). So waht you are using? Courier is ugly because of )} and 1l FixedSys wakes memories, but it's to fattish. Comic Sans MS is out for purely discriminative reasons.

I stopped using fonts a few months ago - I now program by sense of smell.

I'm still using Courrier New. I switched over to Fixedsys mainly because my monitor is going bad and is getting blurry as hell. I'm still on CRTs btw.

I'm now somehow relieved to know that somebody else besides me is using Fixedsys for coding...

I like DejaVu Sans Mono. Tried Consolas, it was ok I guess, but went back to DejaVu.

I don't like Consolas at all (see above.) My preference is Courier 10. (Not Courier New 10.)

I tried, but the characters T and Z smell the same, I always mixed them up.

Verdana is not only the best, it is scientifically undisputably the best. Actually it *is* the best for me because I find it easiest on the eyes, but not everyone programs for 14 hours straight like I do so for some I'm sure a cursive script would be fine.
