Actually creative has been kicking Apples ass. Granted Ipod probably sells a lot more the Zen, but the Zen is a better product. My ipod mini 6GB just died after only 16 months (hard disk errors, kept occuring and I could only copy about 512MB worth of songs before it froze). I just purchased the Zen Vision M. I use it primary in my car and it sounds noticably better then the Ipod. Also, the Windows Media Sync feature is easier to use then Itunes. Creative really is making better mp3 players then Apple, but the name of the game is marketing and they might not be winning that war.

how vital enterprise application are for proactive organizations leveraging collective synergy to think outside the box and formulate their key objectives into a win-win game plan with a quality-driven approach that focuses on empowering key players to drive-up their core competencies and increase expectations with an all-around initiative to drive up the bottom-line. But of course, that's all a "high level" overview of things --thedailywtf 3/21/06

hmm, i guess it just depends how you define "kicking ass".

    Let's execute on the customer-facing market-driven swim-lane paradigm!

I had the choice to buy an ipod or an Creative Zen. I looked at the ipods, and saw that there were alot of problems such as battery life (2 years+ ago), so I looked further. Although I wasted my money I still saved money on buying the Creative Zen. It had a 40gb hdd, and was very durable. I used it whilst riding to work on my motorbike so it was loader louder then an 100cc arse tearing it down the motorway at 55mph. It also was great for functionality and usability. Try using an ipod with gloves (think biker gloves) on, whilst doing 55mph. I also dropped it a few times at those speeds, and I drove back picked it up and it was still playing, it finally died when I sat on it and pulled the ear phones at the same time which pulled the internal headphone socket off the board. I removed the hdd and use it to this day as a pocket drive. With this, I feel Creative are kicking Apple's ass. Gav

Microsoft + MTV ? it'll start out as being 'all about the music'. after two years it'll be all game shows about music. in another year, it'll be all game shows and celebrity gossip.

Zune Schmune. that classic "what if MS sold the iPod" short is all you need to know about the Zune. when is Microsoft going to do something that isn't a copy of what Apple released three years before ? i know, why doesn't MS just buy Apple and turn it into their R&D department!

So you didn't really lose anything apart from the portability of the music player , bit more difficult lugging a desktop/laptop around.

Well since it was damaged outside of warranty, I couldn't have it repaired, and since it was pointless having an mp3 player that you couldn't hear anything on it, I suppose I got my use out of it and still have the use of the hard drive. You'd be supprised, i've been bored witless driving to work, so I did infact plug my headphones into a laptop that i took to work and listened to music. Needless to say it didn't last long. Gav

I am more excited about the commercials Mac will put out. - "Hi, I am an iPod" :sigh: - "and I am a Zune" - "I play music that can be downloaded from out iTunes store. Don't try copying it to more than 5 machines though, that's a breach of your contract with us. And don't even think to make it a format other than our proprietary ACC format. You may have bought it, but you don't own it. In fact, we own you. But hey, we make you look cool and pompous by giving you the priviledge to rip Microsoft." :wtf: - "And I make a great paper weight or recording your dictations" - "I am kooky cool and won't your friends be jealous of you carrying me around!"
