I LOVE these kinds of stories. Makes me want to head down to NYC to watch them go. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060725/sp\_nm/athletics\_run\_dc

I had a dream last night that I was running.

A man said to the universe: "Sir I exist!" "However," replied the Universe, "The fact has not created in me A sense of obligation." -- Stephen Crane

            About 5 miles a week.

I wish I could swim. Despite lessons as a kid and as an adult, I sink like a rock :sigh:. You sound like a guy I work with. Every day he heads over to the pool at the local rec center and swims laps for an hour :omg:.

It started at an hour now it is done to 45 minutes. I do the breaststroke which is very easy and it gets me in my target heart range (usually 85% of theoretical max) without hurting the knees. I can run for a few weeks but then my shin splints come back :( Better sprinter anyway.
