It's about time they did :) -- "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Very useful, I shall wait until tonight though (IT admin might flip if I download it here)

Formula 1 - Short for "F1 Racing" - named after the standard "help" key in Windows, it's a sport where participants desperately search through software help files trying to find actual documentation. It's tedious and somewhat cruel, most matches ending in a draw as no participant is able to find anything helpful. - Shog9 Ed

Really nice. But someone has to tell Microsoft that there's DVDs out since a few years already :sigh:

What they really should be looking into is P2P distribution of these files. If they're going to offer them to the public anyway, why not offer the download in a more convenient form (bittorrent comes to mind). -- "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Personally I'm glad they're not in torrent form, the ISP here limits bandwidth if data comes in on a p2p port range but a dvd iso would have been nicer than 3 disks. MS direct download 900-1200kbp/s combined w/ 3 running torrent downloads 20kbp/s if we're lucky to hit that on this ISP (they claim its there way to fight pirated software)

woo, ms _hates_ p2p and all the related stuff there's a strong relationship between p2p and piracy established in the brains of executives.
