      Excel uses it to allow the user to scroll around the sheet with the arrow keys etc but without moving the focus from the current cell.


      Formula 1 - Short for "F1 Racing" - named after the standard "help" key in Windows, it's a sport where participants desperately search through software help files trying to find actual documentation.               I've had KVM switches that use the scroll lock key to switch between computers.

                Me too. Have you also experienced that the sensitivity of mouse movements went up after using this? I'm still having one of those and it irritates me.

                        Yes, but only when connected to a computer running NT4 (And yes, we still test on and support NT4 here)

                                      I've noticed that indians often use the word doubt instead of question. I suppose that's because some of the indian languages (might be a cultural thing) doesn't distinguish between the two.
