Given that laptop batteries have a habit of blowing up, I wouldn't like to be sitting on top of that many Lithium-Ion cells. Nor would I like to pay the replacement cost when the cells wear out after a year or so. Yes, obviously gas/petrol is flammable, but we now have about 100 years of experience with it. Even in the insanely risky world of Formula 1 pitstop refuelling, fires aren't that common. I'm still nervous when around anyone smoking in their car, though...
Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder

Wouldn't catch me in any American car either. Over 30 years of Hollywood movies and US TV shows has shown me that a decent fart will cause a perfectly normal looking car to explode. A minor pothole is an accident waiting to happen and should it slightly clip another car, well catastophe is all I can say.

And ya know, if it's on TV, it must be true.

It'll all make sense to you when you do. And save the money you'd spend on the 2nd Pirates movie and spend it on popcorn for the first one instead. The first one is classic.

The funny thing is, when I see the first, I'll be curious to know just how bad the second one sucked. It'll be no-win either way you look at it. :-D

Oh, it's worth seeing, and the special effects are done well. But it's the writing and the characters that make the first one special, and that's absent in the second one. Good eye candy, though.

Aw diddums.... $7.11 for a US Gallon at the petrol station I used yesterday. And that was regular. It would have been $7.68 for premium.

Do you think it will ever caught in a red light?
No, it will stop the red light by draining the power from the semaphore.

You could always fit a couple of bass drivers where the radiator would normally be, and invest in a Jeremy Clarkson CD... ;P

I'll stick to the $3.359/gallon since two of my cars have 17+ gallon tanks on them.
