As long as you don't stream music, that is not allowed. Bringing your own is not a problem.

:-D Well, knowing you a bit by now, it does not surprise me ;P But some of the bosses working at the same level here do not hesitate to notify us when we are not sitting properly on our seat, so I do not want to go the headphones experience. :sigh:

Yes, and I work in a "office" of my own, so no need for the earphones most of the time :) Well, actually not an "office", it's more like an empty cubicle area... I'm the only one here most of the time! :-D -- Nicola

You know, few people make crazy things here. They dont plugin their headphones into the socket properly. So it'd be audible in their headphones and also through the built-in speakers.. they keep the volume high enough to bring every eyes onto their cubilcle. In the end someone would go to his place and tell him to stop his "broadcast" :-D

Yeah here too.. Online radios are not allowed. but people listen only to the radios but not to the warnings sent by our n/w admin people.:-D

Not at all. Not even with headphones. They're afraid we might not be working. :rolleyes: Sometimes it'd be nice to have on noise-cancelling headphones, even with no music!

I don't think I could get through the day without some background music. I listen to quiet sounds from my speakers in the office. Ironically headphones are frowned upon, as it takes 'extra' effort to gain a blokes attention:)

Not to do so would be silly. I have sound cancelling headphones too, it is sweet.

I agree ;) I sometime put earphones on even though I'm not really listening music:cool:: this makes people think I won't pay attention to them and don't disturb me if not really necessary. There's a side effect, though: if someone come to speak to my colleague, he feels free to shout, since I won't hear: so I have to turn music on....:mad:
