Just wondering how many people here have had abusive reponses attached to their articles. I got my first today so I must be doing something right. Is this common for the code project?. I know its a problem for codeGuru well that and the fact that people use other peoples articles to advertise their own websites ( I think that one bugged me more than the abuse ) The article in question was on editing Access databases in c# and one person logged in as anonymous and the other probably created the ura loser account especially for me ( coo I feel all warm inside knowing it went to so much trouble. ) Still from his comments its obvious from the words between the swear words that he didn't understand the article ( probably hasnt even read it. ) So Is this a common thing or should I start getting paranoid? Anthony

This only happens in the Access databases with c# group.;P Just kidding. No, it is not common. And the Internet would be better off those 12-year-old jerks. My 2 cents. Michel If I am wrong or said something stupid, I apologize in advance ;)

Oh what an asshole (he). I didn't read the article because I know absolutely nothing about C# but I'm sure it is not that bad. Anyway, try to ignore those type of morons.. :-) - Dan "Intel inside - Idiot outside"

I've seen some strong criticisms in some articles but they are usually technically based. Those replies are just trolls. They should be moderated out and ignored. Todd Smith

Get paranoid. We all hate you. It's a documented fact. You use C#. And Access. Good god man, you're just asking for a whuppin'! I mean, Access alone is enough to bestow the ire of an entire group upon your arse, but then you go and add in C#, you must really be wanting serious abuse! C# is only for weeinies that can't handle the power of C++ and don't understand Java. Grow up, get a life, don't quit your day job, you ain't got a chance. There, now you've been properly abused. Fell better now? :-D

And he climbed with the lad up the Eiffelberg Tower. "This," cried the Mayor, "is your town's darkest hour! The time for all Whos who have blood that is red to come to the aid of their country!" he said. "We've GOT to make noises in greater amounts! So, open your mouth, lad! For every voice counts!" Thus he spoke as he climbed. When they got to the top, the lad cleared his throat and he shouted out, "YOPP!"    Horton hears a W

Judging by their comments, they are probably VB programmers who got lost. (Although with the link to CP being posted on CP today, perhaps we've inherited a couple of their trolls) Don't worry about it, if it happens again we'll set Nish on them :-D Michael :-)

It's becoming more common, and for that reason there is no reason to worry about it. Anthony Roach wrote: Still from his comments its obvious from the words between the swear words that he didn't understand the article ( probably hasnt even read it. ) I posted a game recently using the submission wizard, the image and the two zip files failed to upload and while I was trying to get them to work, two people voted, giving an average of three. That being the case, it's pretty clear that the system is a guide only, and certainly I rarely look at the comments until *after* I've read an article.
