Actually 99,9% of the days I'm always in a good mood , even If I have a lot of problems, I don't carry them to work. Also laughing helps me a lot to overcome my problems and provides a much rewarding feeling than be always in bad mood like some people I known X| If wasn't that , I rather commited suicide since I HATE and double HATE TCL and any scripting language(scripting simple isn't not for me ...) Joao Vaz Unhappy TCL programmer

Definitely a good attitude to have Joao and while we all know this in our more lucid moments it's always good to be reminded that it does not good to get worried about things. They always seem to work out regardless of how much we worry. As the man said, "Worry is like interest paid on a debt that never comes due." I was sitting in traffic today, and wondered .. so how far do most CPians have to commute to get to work ? I myself have to travel 60 miles one way, and it takes about 1.5 hours on average.

On a bad day, lots of traffic-bad weather-etc.. it takes me about 12 min. to get to the office. On a good day about 8 min. This is all on surface streets, no freeway involved. As a matter of fact I have exactly 7 red lights coming and 9 lights going back ( a one way street is involved so the routes are slightly different.) Richard If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report. If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted 'cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash!!!

Hmm. Tough to say without measuring. I'd say about 40 feet from my bedroom door to the office door :) Commute time? Well there was this one morning where I first went to the kitchen to get a coke. Took me like 3 freakin' minutes to get to work! Completely unacceptable! I then purchased a small fridge for the office so that I never have to suffer through that kind of nightmarish commute again. Now, it takes about 30 seconds to get to work    Cheers, Tom Archer Author, Inside C# Please note that the opinions expressed in this correspondence do not necessarily reflect the views of the author.

7 miles through some glorious but flat countryside. If I cycle 20-40mins depending on how eager I am (so 40 mins!). 45mins if I drive. Jeremy Davis http://www.astad.org

Um, 75 feet. Maybe less. Say 5 minutes or so. If I have to drive for some reason, max, 20 minutes. In *very* bad traffic, btw. Have I made you feel bad yet? :)

About 25km each way to the office I'm in at the moment... About 1 hour in traffic, 30 minutes normally Our main office is 10km from my front door, again 1 hour in traffic (heading into the centre of the city) 10 minutes normally... Then again, I sometimes take the long way to work, when I'm in my car and not my girlfriends car, it's more fun that way :) Senior Test Engineer GLI Australia www.gli.com.au

My drive time goes down to 15-20mins when the schools are on holiday. Also when on a cycle track which is on the pathement, I don't have to stop for some traffic lights, also the cycle track goes a shorter quicker route through countryside that cars just couldn't get down!
