Very good, I gave you a five. I'm afraid you'll have to keep scrolling though. BTW how do you reply to messages without opening them up?

I'd tell you, but first you have to change your name to a single line. ;P

I obviously consider all perspectives that differ from my own to be wrong. If I thought a contrary perspective to be right, then I would adopt it as my own. That's not to say that people cannot hold contrary perspectives, because I couldn't care less...Until those perspectives become dangerously maligned to my own. Your frustration in my unwillingness to accept your clearly flawed perspective as "right" is really pretty funny to watch.

Actually, e, as I've stated many times, I don't give a rat's ass whether or not you think my perspective -- or any perspective, for that matter -- is "right", nor would I ever expect you to. Given your inability to distinguish between "right" and "valid" in subjective matters, or to even acknowledge that some matters are subjective, as well as your inability to argue your points without resorting to misdirection, deliberate misinterpretation, and sophistry, I pity the person who holds any hope that they could, with anything short of a power-drill and a turkey baster, inject anything new into that hermetically sealed little mind of yours.

I notice the trend among leftists to label the War on Terror an unwinnable war against a dogma, or a tactic or whatever. In fact, we are at war with several tangible groups. All of which share the desire to destroy western civilization. WWII was a battle against Naziism, so in effect it too was a battle against a dogma.

I really don't see how you could construct such a meaning from my sentence.

What makes you think I'm left wing? I was taking issue with youre statement that you wanted to launch missiles at people withy a particular perspective. Re reading you paragraph it's quyite amazing how you slate 'leftists' for saying the war on terror is a war against a dogma and then claim that WW2 was a war against a dogma. Do you want to launch missiles at Ismaofascism, or just certain groups. It seems to me that to wind a war you've got to have a clear Idea of who or waht you enemy is. Your idea seems to change with every sentence you write.

I'm perfectly happy to put up with Mike Hunt and I'd ask you to put up with Ægidius Ahenobarbus Julius Agricola de Hammo. Vincent you are so right. Espeir does not understand the meaning of the word perspective. How can one argue with someone who lacks the intellectual capacity to even understand that the idea that it is obvious that only one perspective can be right is ludicrous. Espeir, if your reading this take a look out of your window and have a little think.

The word "perspective" isn't overly complex. It's the way someone views the world. You're being rather hypocritical in that you're expecting me to not only understand your perspective (which I probably do), but you want me to validate it. You are therefore demanding that I take your relativistic approach and abandon my absolutist approach. In other words...You want me to abandon my perspective in favor of your. That's a bit ironic considering you're chastising me for advocating my own perspective.

No, not really. You obviously don't know that "Mike Hunt" is a euphemism for "My Kunt" (replace K with C).

"Mike Hunt" is really a sock puppet that i made as a joke. I intended the name to sound like that.

Your post that I was replying to contained an insult, every post you make before I insult you contains an insult, your sig contains a direct insult -- and has for days -- so I'd say that your attempt to claim any sort of moral high ground, given your behavior in this forum, is an insult to everyone's intelligence.

I insulted you? :~ "Your frustration in my unwillingness to accept your clearly flawed perspective as "right" is really pretty funny to watch." Hmmmmm...So which part was insulting? That I called your perspective flawed (which, of course, is criticism of your argument), or that I think your "frustration" is funny? Frankly, I don't see an insult in that sentence. Perhaps it's a matter of "perspective".
