No I think we should treat people's cultures and means of expression with respect. I'm perfectly happy to put up with Mike Hunt and I'd ask you to put up with Ægidius Ahenobarbus Julius Agricola de Hammo. If you can't find fault with my dazzling debating skills then don't launch attackls on my name family or other personal details.

Farmer Giles was fat and enjoyed a slow, comfortable life. Then one day a giant blundered on to his land. Farmer Giles managed to scare him away and instantly became a hero. So it was natural that when the dragon Chrysophylax visited the area, it was Farmer Giles who was to do battle with it.

Actually, e, as I've stated many times, I don't give a rat's ass whether or not you think my perspective -- or any perspective, for that matter -- is "right", nor would I ever expect you to. Given your inability to distinguish between "right" and "valid" in subjective matters, or to even acknowledge that some matters are subjective, as well as your inability to argue your points without resorting to misdirection, deliberate misinterpretation, and sophistry, I pity the person who holds any hope that they could, with anything short of a power-drill and a turkey baster, inject anything new into that hermetically sealed little mind of yours.

Vincent you are so right. Espeir does not understand the meaning of the word perspective. How can one argue with someone who lacks the intellectual capacity to even understand that the idea that it is obvious that only one perspective can be right is ludicrous. Espeir, if your reading this take a look out of your window and have a little think.

The word "perspective" isn't overly complex. It's the way someone views the world. You're being rather hypocritical in that you're expecting me to not only understand your perspective (which I probably do), but you want me to validate it. You are therefore demanding that I take your relativistic approach and abandon my absolutist approach. In other words...You want me to abandon my perspective in favor of your. That's a bit ironic considering you're chastising me for advocating my own perspective.

Vincent you are so right. Espeir does not understand the meaning of the word perspective. How can one argue with someone who lacks the intellectual capacity to even understand that the idea that it is obvious that only one perspective can be right is ludicrous.

Espeir are you being deliberately obtuse? It's inherent to the meaning of the word perspective that their can be more than one perspective on the same thing. If you don't like relativism why do you use inherently relativistic langueage. Absolutits don't have a perspective on anything. How could they?

If you find criticism of your arguments so "insulting", perhaps the Soapbox isn't for you. That explains your defensive attitude, though.

No, not really. You obviously don't know that "Mike Hunt" is a euphemism for "My Kunt" (replace K with C).

Oh for god's sake. I'm aware of the joke concerning Mr Hunt. If AHZ isn't a euphamism for ARSE what is it? It's pronounced the same isn't it? Ok maybe the Z is a little softer.
