CodeProject Outage Sep 16 - Completed
-
The move is complete and we're up and running ahead of shedule. Thanks for your patience everyone, and we are sorry for the inconvenience.
Starting at 8am (US EST) Saturday September 16 CodeProject will be down while we unplug, untangle, packup and move all our servers across town to a new location. We've simply outgrown what our current provider can supply so this move should result in even more improvements in bandwidth and availability as well as 24/7 onsite support from our host and access to some serious brain-power and some wicked cool toys. We're expecting to be back on the air late Sunday afternoon at the latest. -- modified at 20:18 Saturday 16th September, 2006

I think you can very well start charging for a "CP Login" now.. you know for the first time I'll be ready to pay for something that's online. hehe.. Though you said it might take an extra day for a complete relocation, I kept on checking a hundred times :-D... Codeproject....:badger: Codeproject....:badger: CP....:badger: CP....:badger: It's Back....It's Back... :badger: You'll understand the above song , only if you've heard the England...England...Football...FootBall.. it's a Goal It's Goal...sung by the badgers in a Flash animation.

I had this image of lots of servers toddling across Toronto on their little legs, holding hands and whistling with Chris as the Pied Piper  Elaine (slightly hallucinagenic fluffy tigress)

You’re kidding right? These are the Code project servers were talking about here? I had envisioned something more along the lines of Chris & David C corralling the servers with whips and baseball bats with the servers snarling and spitting electrons and hard drives out. :)

Did you bring enough for the whole class? :)
I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

My spelling, or the fact that we're actually up?
Actually, at 9:30 last night, after the bbq we went to at the neighbors farm, I didn't even notice the spelling. :) Marc
That's amusing. I appear to be logged on with my girlfriend's account. Marc
