Unscientific survey time - how many hours / week do you spend working? This would include paid or unpaid overtime, plus moonlighting. Taking time off to spend some time training does not count... Curious.

40 minimum, 86 maximum at this job. Previous max 92.5 at previous job. Moonlighting depends, because my moonlighting is hobby work. I deliberately do not sell my photography to stay amature, but my jewelry is starting to sell. But it is only in the hours I am not working. So still up to same maximum. Overtime is usually paid, but in straight compensation, not time-and-a-half that hourly folks get. Still something is worth it!

Since Sept. 6 NONE. I start work again October 6th. The first week of doing nothing was kind of fun. Now I'm kind of bored. Although i've gotten a bunch of boxes unpacked that I had been putting off. I'm going to miss the naps.

I work for a company that's a little out of the norm in this respect, in that the building is cleared out and locked at a very decent hour. Thus, no way to get much over 42-45 hours, even by working through your lunch. Don't we need more companies like this? Another interesting question would be, How many hours/week do you spend working on your own personal projects? Think that I'd be nearing at least 30 hours on this figure. Mitch

Kind of odd. I bet if you averaged the first post of the day for a user with their last post of the day per day you'd get a pretty solid number. If I'm not working I'm not at CP or a computer. I'm out with my kids or I'm running a Nigerian Scam.

I'm a real slacker ;P - I'm contracted to work 38 hours a week. I'll work up to 45 hours a week (paid overtime) if I feel like it or need to, going up to 50 if I'm really feeling motivated!

After becoming a dad, my limit is 40, I've released a few things over the years, they more hours you do, it will never any more reward (unless you own the company), and my children are more important than the computer.

I'm a real slacker ;P - I'm contracted to work 38 hours a week. I'll work up to 45 hours a week (paid overtime) if I feel like it or need to, going up to 50 if I'm really feeling motivated!

Thats cool, don't thnk the people who put in more hours are getting paid any extra, working for free is for the young and foolish.
