Speaking of which has anyone else seen the new Dell XPS system? the best lap top one i mean. It is amazing. A client had one and now i have made it my quest to also get one. It has cool features like when you press a key it lights up and then fades a few secounds later. (and we thought this was only JS that could do it!)

Brad Australian Have you tried Rebooting it?

If the sticker price wasn't insane I'd recomend it to schools for use in typing classes. Looking down to cheat would be impossible. :)

For 200 bucks I would expect it to have a coffee warmer as well! :)

Maybe I'm missing something... but WTF is the point of lighting up the key after you've pressed it?!? Isn't that what the screen is for?

According to the description the keytop labels don't show until the key is struck, at which point the label can't be read, because your finger covers the label. :wtf:

It's about Geek Points. The relationship between them and status/value in reality is inversely proportional.

This is not a standard keyboard, ie. it's not usable for programmers. :suss:

I haven't seen a label anywhere on it saying it is a programmers keyboard, but thats just me ;P It's rather expensive too, so I think I'll pass on this one.
