For those that might have missed it, the RC2 version is officially available. http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc2/en/download.htm[^] I wonder though, will the dev tools work with RC2 or must developers stay with RC1?

I certainly hope the changes from RC1 to 2 aren't so major that dev tools would break :|

Thanks for the heads up. All the info indicated that it would be available via MSDN subscriptions early next week, so I wasn't expecting it to be on the public beta site this weekend. We've an RC1 (x86) machine to upgrade...if that goes OK we'll probably take it to x64 and move the 32 bit Vista stuff to one of our other dev machines. :)

Anna :rose: Currently working mostly on: Visual Lint  Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. It didn't work.

I am up and running with RC2 64 and it all seems pretty good. Have yet to get VS and some dev tools in but at least my Quake and Unreal Tournament runs good on it ;)

A-HAHAHAHA! "Windows XP SP1 support ends!" "All must install SP2!" Redmontonians are Software Terrorists. Like George is the criminal against humanity. Ladies and gentlemen, would you mind if they garbage collect themselves? I wouldn't. But there is a way out. And the name of it is Opensource. It is Linux. I'll consider it almost sure choice for me after I finish my project with __gc managed __extensions for C++ 2003 .net 1.1. Edit: ppunctuation. NO __gc MORE ;)
