I don't know about anyone else, but when I'm programming, I love to crank some music. Whether it's Punk :cool:, Rock or Rap, I don't care. Music gets me and my brain going! How about everyone else? The All American Rejects expecially! YEAH!!!! :cool:

Blech. Especially to Punk and Rap, though some Rock is programmable to. Pretty much, I have to have silence in order to think. The only time I listen to music is when I'm coding something that doesn't require thinking, and the music is a nice distraction that keeps me from clicking on the "hire an Indian to do this gruntwork" link. I usually listen to Enya or I listen to some trance internet radio using iTunes or WinAmp. I'm more of a Gun's and Roses type of guy, but I just can't listen to that while working, it's too distracting. Maybe some soft tunes from Led Zepelin would work :)
