We must have read different history books. That, or you or someone in your family has an agenda.

I read news that many new generation Japanese do not have a clue on how and what the Japanese had done to hurt people around the world during WW2. Is this how the majority think in Japan? I got a job offer from japan but is worrying about this. I really don't want my child to grow under such an environment.

They are only changing the more stronger word to something softer such as "invated" to "passing by". Though it pissed off a lot of people from the "passed-by" countries. Or still honoring the people who responsibled of the "passing by" as heroes. http://english.peopledaily.com.cn/200405/13/eng20040513\_143145.html

Interestingly, when you mention slavery there was no Ghana. There was a "Gold Coast" because it was a place to steal gold to beautify the European queens and kings. I never heard about any leader then, there were/are chiefs and none is reported as assisted the slave trade in the Gold Coast. Do you know the name of any so-called black slaver? The then Gold Coast (and now Ghana) is bounded by sea with harbors/castles/forts built by the Europeans. The then Gold Coast is a victim to the slavery, if your history books at least cared to talk about it. It might be a vital link to the Europeans, but was not created by Ghanaians. Best regards, Paul.

I see. Your claim is that since there was no "leader" there were no ghanaian people and therefore no ghanaian history. Whatever happened before 1957 is someonelse's problem. For example, the doings of the Empire of Ghana matter not at all. BTW, a friend told me once that "ghana" means "warrior" or "warrior prince" (i don't remember which) but it must surely be a lie... Next you will tell me that because you put your hand on your face, you have become invisible.

Wow...please learn and stop wasting my time. Empire of Ghana/Mali etc never had no relation to the current country Ghana, which was formerly Gold Coast. Read about the era of Empire of Ghana and see if it has a relation with slavery. Take a look...[^] Sorry, I have work to do...and it is Friday. Best regards, Paul.

Sure sure. Nothing to do at all. Well then, ghanaians didn't exist before 1957. Even beyond that date, ghanaians have always been straight arrows. Jerry Rawlings, for example, is a figment of my imagination.

I did read it well, unfortunately for you, and it is clear that you haven't forgiven. Consider what you have ended up with:

Ready for the worst because it is not all cool? Now now. The original poster claimed delusion as proof which you happily endorsed and magnified without any other justification than a chip on your shoulder. Now you say that "it is not all cool". For goodness sake, WHERE on earth it is all cool? And when did he say SUCH a thing? The truth is that Japan is a good place to live compared to many others. Not perfect but nowhere is (except Ghana, grant you).

Theo only thing i dont like about Japan is that they have banned firearms, but they probably dont need them because they probably have a less violent society than America.

Nice, this is what I knew you are talking about...lead me on... Now, tell me where these were tried, found guilty and sentense to death but are now being honored as heros. As a reminder, where you missed the point is the issue has nothing to do with ordinary Japanese (civilian or army), it is about the leaders of those times. Best regards, Paul.

Why are you always find a way to escape? It's like you try to argue but when you have someone in front of you that obviously has more world culture than you, you just say that it's not the point... I don't even want to enter this discussion, but I'm reading and I find interesting that you always try to escape. You ask names, they give you names and then ou just find an excuse to escape one more time...
