Does anyone know of any .NET games? What does .NET have to offer to the gamming world? I've heard of XNA, but I think that targets Xbox only. Any suggested resources/links?

Well, since I started using the *cough* help system for .NET in VS 2005, I've been spending a lot of time playing the latest Microsoft gaming craze, "Find the Relevant Information." I haven't made it past level 1 yet, but I have hope!

.NET game development used to consist of using the managed DirectX wrappers. It now consists of using XNA, which allows one to create games for both Windows and XBox360.

Nope its for both XBOX and Windows platforms which is why I think it's so cool. At my university I'm currently involved in a group that's experimenting with it for our own games in the near future. Now that they put in the content pipeline for beta 2 things have gotten a lot easier. -- modified at 17:57 Monday 13th November, 2006

Found on Bash.org [erno] hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.

That is a cool! I just watched a clip on TV a few days ago about Second Life and how people are making so much money on it supplying people things to buy in their Second Life. They even talked to a wedding planner that does virtual weddings for the online fantasy lives, that cost $50-$200 per wedding... Yikes!
