Bug found with ASP.NET Repeater component.
-
I can't seem to find any place to submit a bug about Visual Studios 2005, if you know such a place please let me know. The bug found has to do with the ASP:Repeater component. Using the ItemCommand(object source, RepeaterCommandEventArgs e) e only gives an index of what it thinks is selected which doesn't necessarily correspond to an actual DataRow from the incoming source. This issue occurs when the index is a child of a child of a child table. Where the child rows are generated from DataRelations. This leads to mismatch between the data in a database and the record selected on screen. I really would love to see microsoft actually have a place where we can report bugs without getting charged 100$ for a finding a bug they created.

Post some bug is one step, another is wait for months to be evaluated by MS, if you cannot get more than 3 votes in your post...:sigh::suss:
