To access unmanaged sites from a managed site, you need to use Interop services. Really the flat-forum sucks X| displaying all messages at a time.. I had a look :wtf: and ran back to CP.. hufff...

CP's forum is a variation on the same theme. I much prefer PHPBB to the forums here.

well, there are actually people who pride themselves in doing others homework without realizing what it does to the person who isn't doing the homework, and to the market when they graduate never knowing how to program even though they "passed" a dozen programming courses. What is the difference between someone who does your homework for you, and someone you pay to do your homework? the money. Yet for some reason one of those is frowned upon, and the other often ignored. At least until the mid-term exams....

Yo Kev! Firstly, congrats on the flame. To actually get people soooo angry to start flaming you...takes guts man. Now the REAL issue. Whats up with the 'Do my homework' scene? Do you have no pride as a developer. Sure, its fine to share work between friends but on the net you must own, man. Even if you're a newbie developer (believe it or not, we all were at one stage) there is a certain pride and joy that comes from solving the problem yourself. I also believe (on the other hand) that we more experienced developers should help the rest of the guys... so give me a shout whenever you have a problem. Just make it more of a challenge next time. We developers LOVE challenges. But seriously... if you want to have other people doing your homework for you... at least disguise it a little next time... Like "I'm having trouble with this app" or something. As they say...gotta go. Lots of grass to eat :)

Later on this guy said he'd since "solved" his problem. It turns out that he got someone else (outside codeguru) to solve it for him.
