So as I continue to work on my screen saver I get new ideas and find new requirements. The latest requirement is voice of Bob. I want to add certain voices like "Please wait downloading from web", "Code project who's who", "You are watching the CodeProject Top 10 posters" etc. Any volunteers, who think that they can be Bob?

What does Bob sound like? Tim Smith I know what you're thinking punk, you're thinking did he spell check this document? Well, to tell you the truth I kinda forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this here's CodeProject, the most powerful forums in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question, Do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk?

Make it celestial! Use the voice of God – not Bob. Get something like CoolEdit Pro and record your own voice. Then bring in it over and over again on different tracks with the appropriate filters to make it sound like a choir of angels. Forefront it with another track with low pitch, major reverb, bass, etc. as God commanding you to visit CP or face eternal damnation, etc. Then, submit it so that we may worship it. :) Jeremy L. You did notice that Bob has no visible mouth, right? I always assumed he communicated through telepathy (and drank through osmosis); is there a FAQ on this somewhere? --------_**

With Bob being an alien, our concepts of the connection between gender, name and voice might not even apply. Bob is certainly not his name anyway. That's just the name that we earthlings gave him because we don't speak his tongue. For all we know, the entire concept of gender might be different on his planet. Are you listening Rama? So you've decided he should use John then? ;P Mullfled - He doesn't want anyone to recognise him for fear of identification. Female - You just have to look at his profile picture to know something just isn't right. Welsh - The Welsh have plenty of grassy hill farms, and they in turn house plenty of sheep. Big wooly white ones with open minds. Aussie - He like to suck (edit: "up to") Chris to stop him going to the police with those black and white six by fours from his last vacation. Booming - If someone tells you beastiality is easy they are lying. All the baaaing to fit in totally nackers your voice box. God-Like - Now come on really. Who here can honestly say they do not have a shrine to John Simmons in their bedroom? It is so easy to take the piss out of someone when they are not here to defend themselves. ____________________ David Wulff hu·mour Pronunciation Key (hymr) n. & v. No, thar's what Hollywood would do. Sorry lauren, nothing personal. I'm just gender role aware ;) Perhaps offering "voice packs" would be a PC solution?

I speak english and spanish fluently along with some french and dutch. However, you'll have to find someone else for the hindi :)+ Cheers, Tom Archer Author - Inside C#, Visual C++.NET Bible A total abstainer is one who abstains from everything but abstention, and especially from inactivity in the af

Maybe he sounds like the adults in Charlie Brown television shows. (Afterall, with no mouth, how understandable could he be?)
