Whern I was in first year at uni I failed Engineering Management, I wasn't too woried since it was a minor optional subject however my dad bought me every book on the reading list. I put them under my bed and forgot about them, but then got a special pass (over 70%) in the re-sit - I must have learnt by osmosis!

I also noticed that one of is skills is putting "Redundant Arrays on Inexpensive Disks" Gosh! With that skill we could have infinite storage on a 3.5" platter for very little cost. I'm sure he really means a "Redundant Array [singular] of Inexpensive Disks

Don't kid yourself. He (allegedly :-D) downloaded an illegal copy of an ebook, then did a copy/paste. That way zero knowledge was trandferred from the book to his brain. :-D
I'm supprised he was able to work the ctrl+c+v keys. Someone of his intelect must be used to just using tellepathy to transfer his thoughts to the Ram.

Even so... I feel like I should have a 20 page resume rather than a 2 page after looking at those skills. After 21 years in the business if I listed every computer architecture as well as OS and might as well split languages to each. I used to list all my architectures when I was starting off, to have "something" to put on a resume, now I have to throw things off I don't want to admit to anymore... ;)

She was offended at the award, but I had wanted it. :)

Is this what the lounge is headed for? Simply a place to make fun of other people? If so, it's going to drag CP down to the level of other, lesser sites. Many who bring value to you through their knowledge, humor or conversation will lose interest and find another place to hang out, one that isn't simply a harbor for trolls, flame wars and other such contentious behavior. When people intentionally and consistently make a nuisance of themselves, such as He Who Shall Not Be Named, I know it's hard to resist the temptation to take a shot. But what about this guy? You read an article, didn't care for the skill set he listed, and consequently decided to make him a target for public ridicule? Norm, my intention isn't to single you out personally. :rose: In fact, as one of the very early members, you're one of the guys who could be setting a good example for others here. However, this post just serves to point out how the atmosphere in general has been shifting, from one of community to an environment of mean spirited commentary and personal attacks. I really don't see how any of us benefit from such a shift.

Yea they were just suggestions. I do think that it would be fun to have a comp along those lines. Maybe there could be a "CP Turkey" award (like the awards for the other articles).
