Google's push marketing - $10 to win :-)
-
Did you all see this :- Google will give you $10 to spend when you use Google Checkout. That's on the Google.com front page. If a million people use that, that's $10 million gone in marketing. :-)

What google page are you talking about? All I see is a "Get a google enhanced searchbox" ad in the top right corner. (which in my mind when I first saw that was the definitive moment when google "jumped the shark")
i believe is this http://checkout.google.com/buyer/tour.html[^] And this page shows the $10 thing http://checkout.google.com/buyer/tour.html[^]

I already used two times via Buy.com. That's how Google is trying to get more customers from eBay/Paypal.

(*Sample chapter available online*)I'd like to use Google Checkout even without bonus because their rates are friendly and they also have some promotion with Google Adwords (I think they process some transaction free if one spends certain amount on Google Adwords), but last time I checked they did not accept Canadian registrations.
