When my phone line was messed up I attempted to order a pizza over the phone. We could barely hear each other and I ended up handing up. I then drove up to the place to order there and wait and the girl working there asked if I was the one who called. She had already made the pizza just in case. It was not what I ordered so she made another one the way I wanted and gave me the other pizza for free. I got two pizzas for the price of one. Then tonight I ordered another pizza (pepperoni and mushroom) but the girl told me that I wouldn't get the special deal they had if I wanted two ingredients. I told her I would just have pepperoni and then I drove up to get the pizza. She gave me pepperoni and mushroom for a price that is less than what I would have got with the special deal.:omg: I think they are either really nice or they are smoking pot.

Yes, all the girls there are cute and young but I am a shy person and I would goof it all up. Simply asking such a question would be like trying to walk through a brick wall.

I had a scheduled appointment this afternoon at 4PM with my auto mechanic to get some shock mounts replaced. I left work early, drove 45 mintues to the shop to find no one was there. This was a bit unusual since my mechanic, while a one-man show working from home, is generally very professional about things. So , I waited 15-20 minutes, figuring he was running late from somewhere. He never showed and I left to go home. A little confused and irritated that I'd wasted almost 2 hours driving and waiting. Around 6:15, he called me up to apologise and explain that his wife's car broke down (ironic?), etc... and when would I like to come back. Well, I made sure to remind him it took me 45 minutes one way, but I could come back tonight. He agreed to stay late to finish my work. So he replaced the parts, all went well, and he handed me the bill. He said, "I feel terrible about not being here earlier and making you come back out here. So, I'm not charging you for the labor. I figured I already wasted your time, so to be fair, now I'll waste mine." Man, what a great mindset! I guess it's not that big a deal(saved me $50), but it was just nice to see someone own up to a mistake and make an effort to make it right. Seems to be getting so rare. Anyway, if you need a BMW mechanic in the upstate SC region call Gunther at Austrotech. :) I usually only hear about the service screw ups, are there any other anecdotes about unexpectedly good service? Something someone did to make you feel glad you do business with them.

Try it from time to time. It hurts like hell, but the other side might be amazing. What is the worst that can happen? You have to change your pizza parlor. Disclaimer: There should be a law against dating advise from me
