You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique human. You are the same melting ice crystal formations as everything else. ...or something...

"...might ring false for smaller crystals that sometimes fall before they have a chance to fully develop." Small crystals aren't real snow flakes IMO. ;)

Found on Bash.org [erno] hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.

Having to do research into the subject of two snowflakes that aren't unique is a silly thing to do. Who cares if every snowflake are the same, they're cold, they melt and they make the road slippery. And last but not least, you can make balls out of it and throw it at the scientists ;P. P.S. I totally forgot, I got a package here, instant snowman. The package says: Just add snow.

Actually, that's an old wives tale that even scientists grew up with assuming it was true. Luckily, I photograph caverns and crystals as well as do L-system work in VR. Snowflakes are just crystals. Any geologist will tell you no two crystals are "identical" except on the small scale. When crystals start forming the conditions for formation are so similar and defined and the molecular structure of the matrix allows specific growth patterns, that most small crystals look alike given the same molecular structure. Once you begin grouping crystals the formation becomes unique. Every geode you pull from the ground is a unique treasure of combining formation and multiple crystalline formations within. But each crystal has symetric and related formation within and look alike. :) so too with ice... crystals are crystals.... I am waiting to see someone put an ice chip on a chain and tell me it has magical vibration properties. :)

God what a worthless waste of money. I've seen two snowflakes pretty much the same, and you can't prove that no two things are the same, unless you can observe and compare all of them. Talk about a dumb-ass thing to do. Besides that, I can show you two ice crystals that are always identical to each other (possibly mirror images). Namely, 2(H2O)
