I am expecting that many blog entries today (mostly on msdn blogs and weblogs.asp.net) that will announce "ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 Released" And I also expect that another few dozen entries would link to other entries that made the announcement.

    Regards, Nish

How many years experience in MS AJAX agents are going to be asking for tomorrow:)

the last thing I want to see is some pasty-faced geek with skin so pale that it's almost translucent trying to bump parts with a partner - John Simmons / outlaw programmer
Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

The problem is that though Microsoft were initially fussy about it being spelt as .NET, more people got it wrong than those that did it right. In fact ".Net" returns 1.5 billion results on Google where as ".NET" returns a mere 100 million.

Even worse is the Microsoft logo for .NET which is all in lower case.

You'll find twice that number on non-MSDN blogs going vitriolic on ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 and how it is the spawn of satan and bloated and slow and kitchen-sinked... which is all true. ;)

The logo was one reason for many people getting confused about it.
