I just established that Telstra are not supporting it yet, maybe other people have to stick with XP in order to connect to the web ?

I didnt even know it was for sale yet. Where was the big fan far, the midnight opening, the queues on the 6oclock news etc?

System.IO.Path.IsPathRooted() does not behave as I would expect

I didn't know that telstra had anything to do with it..... or does your connection require software to work?

Sorry to nitpick, but this has been bugging me. The sentence should read: Still searching for a good resource to LEARN English grammar ...

Just wait, Vista will prove itself as did 2000, XP and Windows 2003 server. Vista is a golden and will only improve. With in three years most people will be running Vista and XP will be that old OS no one wants any more.

I disagree. It is a power hungry monstrosity of an OS. I will not be using it until the last moment possible.

I disagree as well. My memory of Win2K is that it was pretty rapidly picked up. I know I had switched to using it exclusively by Mar/Apr of 2000. I don't see myself using Vista exclusively for a while.
