Some might not have looked much at WPF/E yet. On Channel 9 there is a quick sample page with various things to play around: http://channel9.msdn.com/playground/wpfe/[^] You might also take a look at the Channel 9 Player in the bottom of the list..

Too bad they don't have a single example of a business app, that's what I'm really interested in, not toys, cool as they are.

You may have just defined WPF(E) in five words or less...

So, this is MS-Flash then, eh? (i know, i know, i'm just adding to the negativity... but come on, this isn't 2000, the battle between Java applets / Flash / whatever3D is over, and MS is waaay late to the party. A keyboard and yet another video player... whooo.)

I saw a couple videos (or screencasts) IIRC on Channel 9 about the business aspects, but do not remember which ones (I have seen a lot of them ;) ).

Looks the same on my machine in IE7 or Firefox 1.5.09! Maybe it is an extention you are using.

Yep, and it looks like it sits on top of a javascript master :) Check this post[^] out and look at the responses from Scott Guthrie. MS is saving us developers for yet another complex task.

It's WPF not WPF/E but at the launch of Vista/Office in the UK they had a team from the London Underground show what they've been doing using WPF. It gave me some thoughs for the application of WPF (mainly on XP - still can't see the value of Vista) http://www.microsoft.com/uk/launch2007/dev/review.mspx Skip past the Microsoft speakers until you come across a guy who look more like a developer at about the 3/4 mark.
