which font suits you best on your prefered coding editor? - is it one font for all ide's ? - doesn't really matter, the defaults work just fine ? - or are you really fussy about different fonts on diff applications :) ? me.. i'm not too picky, at least not usually, but for some reason, on VS.net, i just can't find something that actually works, hence the question  Consolas [too dark], Lucida Console [too light/thin], Courier [mmm.. maybe?]

Whatever is the default VS font. It looks fine to me and I never cared enough to change it.

That's the Windows source code in APL, isn't it?

Consolas works nicely in VS2005. I also use it when displaying code on web pages. Not so good in programs that don't support ClearType though... I also love the default SciTE font scheme - never thought i could stand using proportional fonts while coding, but this changed my mind. Also looks fantastic when printed.

Consolas is very nice, if you have Visual Studio 2005 installed and/or are running Vista. Those of us in the trenches keeping the plumbing working in the real world with VS.NET 2003 and XP SP2 despise you out of glyph envy.

 Waiting to push for an upgrade from VS6 'till VS2005 was released: one of the very few half-decent decisions i've made in recent years.
