    of my cell phone. First sunrays of the year. Barbecue in the garden. Fun fun fun. Some drinking involved. [thud thud thud] [crash]. Friend grabs you by the legs. Fall. Big brawl, many people, much fun. Later by the campfire. "What time is it?". Take out phone to check. Busted my screen. 3 weeks old cellphone. money well spent. This is why I can't have nice things :( just felt like sharing

    Visual Studio can't evaluate this, can you? public object moo { __get { return moo; } __set { moo = value; } }

        Rest In Pieces doesn't really apply cause it's still in one, big, useless, piece. unless you were refering to the other meaning :p

            Tell me about it. I go through about five cell phones a year, breaking or losing. There is often a perty involved.

              Some jackass (you know who you are JACKASS!!!) gave you a 1.0. These are the posts that I think are cool and give the lounge flavor. My cell phone is currently fading in and out of a coma but in our state (Idaho) it's illegal to euthanize anything including cell phones so unless I find an organ donor for (probably just need a whole new body really) it will continue being problematic and causing me grief. So each time it goes comatose I do the proper thing any self-respecting Windows owner would do. I reboot it and hope things improve *IF* it comes back up. Stupid cell phones...:-D

                  Mine had teh windows too. I put it next to my computer, so they could do the Bluetooth thing. But since all of my calendar and emails are on google, it didn't do everything automatically, so I was quite disappointed in the whole thing anyway. Laziness was involved. Cool stuff should happen out of the box. I wanted to post in the C# forum: you write application for google calendar/mail on cell phone windows for me! do it now please thank you. :((

                    I personally find it difficult to break your cellphone if you can never find it.

                      I forgot my phone in my pocket. Then, one day, I decided to wash the dirty stack of clothes. My sister and niece came by to visit me, and she remarked: "Your washing machine sounds funny. Did you leave your mobile in there?" and I responded "Of course not, I am not stupiiiii... s**t!". It was too late, of course. It never came back (mainly because there were no more circuits on the circuit-board, I guess) and I had to buy a new one. The new one was a Motorola RAZR V3 (folding-mechanism). That phone is gone as well, because the first thing I did after taking a call in the middle of the night, was folding it back the wrong way. Crunching sound, darkness. I am now using the oldest phone that I could get my hands on (Bosch GSM - your stone-age mobile brick).

                      Cheers, Sebastian -- Ceterum censeo, borlandem esse delendam.

                              I guess I should be happy I just loose pens and break watches. I wear a G-shock because it is the only watch I have never broken, though I try hard with my phone, it looks like it survived an alien encounter or at the very least an attack of wild animals. It's skipped across parking lots many times, banged against walls, though not as often as my watch. Pens I go through one a week, I either break them, or loose them. My cellphone is now almost 2 years old, coming up on two years in October. I get a free one in October, so this means that it will probably break around July. ;)

                                It could be worse... it could have been a hasselblad camera. I drool over those online, but would never buy one because I know if I broke it, it would hurt a LOT.

                                    Cheers, Sebastian -- Ceterum censeo, borlandem esse delendam.

                                      of my cell phone.

                                      A guy at work went swimming with his samsung in his pocket.:doh: After several days with a hairdryer, it came back to life.:omg: I had a 35mm camera go skipping off my car roof to the parking lot. Every corner on it was chipped, but it worked fine for 5 years. Then the gears started slipping. I had to turn it upside down after each shot to engage and wind the film.

                                      He was a snowflake, like other "unique" snowflakes, falling down, getting stepped on, and pushed aside to disappear.
