Whose fault??
-
Hi,:( I made an application that is online registration. I checked it at local as well as after upload that, Even my Boss and HR Manager checked that application. The candidate started to make registration through that and almost above 60 candidates did that successfully, and suddenlly there was an error occured of loading library of common function made by me. I did not make any change after uploadation. My boss is telling that it is my mistake, Either I did not make such good application or I made changes after starting of registration.:(( :(( :(( I know that how much hard effort I put to make this application good, I didn't look at the watch. I worked for this in the day as well as late night. Now can I know your views for that, Whose fault it is?

Does it matter? Will knowing solve the problem?

Amen brother! Uplodation and cast ye all blame aside'!

So te first 60 were successful then it statrted to fail? How many registrations were carried out in testing? It could be simply a fault in the server not related to the software itself. If you live in a culture where blame counts then consider looking elsewhere. Elaine :rose:

Well it is, because it is the question of my impression in the office.

proper QA department
It's not unusal for smaller code shops to not have a real QA department. Not ideal, obviously, but with proper processes it's certainly a workable situation. Consider all the one-man shops out there earning a successful living all by their lonesome.

The testers. I hate finger pointing. It should be "How can we get this problem sorted out best?" not "Who's fault is it?"

No, no, no, that's the Japanese way of doing things. Since this is the United States, that simply won't work here! Someone MUST be blamed, usually me. :-D

2006, 2007Dammit , youve hit on my latest software project . A B.A.M system . (blame allocation system ) . It consists of a list of projects and a list of names you link one to the other and select "create blame". Its a sure fire winner.

Well I checked the Full application more than 160 times with a different database but I am not getting any error. But he said that the institute got the error from my application.
