So did anyone else see that ABC God debate thing?

Yes.. They're so far off the deep end that seriously I don't even see the point of even responding.

I think they all at least deserve a round of congratulations for so closely mimicking the quality of debate found on the internet in real life.

You might remember Kirk & Ray from the infamous banana video: Bananas: The Atheist's Nightmare[^] Well, they're back! No, I didn't see it either, but thanks to the miracle of the internet, it's available to everyone. No more debates will ever be required on this subject: case closed![^] My first favourite part was where Kirk proved God scientifically (One hundred percent!) by spending five minutes telling the audience his personal conversion story (it's like part five or something). My second favourite part was where the atheist guy screws up which law of thermodynamics is which. Sigh. Way to go, dude. I should also mention I skipped over large portions of the girl talking because her speaking voice was like OMG FINGERNAILS ON CHALKBOARD. Be warned! (Edit: Oh, this is only part one. Part two airs today. Yay! Cliffhangers!)

The entire paradox of using scientific reasoning to prove god's existence leaves my head spinning. If scientific methodology can be used, or is necessary, to prove the existence of God, does that validate God? Or Science?
Modern liberalism has never achieved anything other than giving Secularists something to feel morally superior about

It's exactly as ludicrous as using science to prove the existence of God.

It proves that god created science so man would have a mechanism for proving god exists and that god created science. Or something like that.

My favorite part had to be the CROCKOGATOR. During his entire acting career, I never laughed out loud at anything Cameron did, but that little display of idiocy had me in stitches for several minutes.

Yeah, it seems dumb to me, too. Those sort of shows are really just a way for both sides to preach to the converted. Were that not so, there would be an actual clear winner ( and even that would prove nothing )

Very entertaining, thanks! I loved the ending, when the moderator asks Ray and Kirk for comments and they don't have any. :-D

Yeah, no kidding. It was almost painful watching the religious side contain their impulses to cover their ears and yell, "LALALALALALA". :)

Yeah, who needs science? We have the Bible which contains all the knowledge and explanations that we need. People wanting to understand the universe is because of the fall of man. What ever happened to simply having faith and obeying God?

Have you ever seen Ken(t?) Hovind giving lectures on creation and why evolution is false? Now there's a big fuckin "lalalalalalalalaalala!!". I bet he has secret groupies.
