Okay, I've looking for a mouse for people at work. Belive it or not, they need at leat 5 buttons, none-wireless and optical. Now here is the funny thing. I need a mouse that also has a SECOND middle click (if there is such a thing), for use other than the mouse wheel click. I expecting serious gaming mouse. Anyone seen such a thing? G

What are the other extra buttons for? To undo the things they clicked?

the Razor series is a 7 button mouse, though not sure if it has dual or triple middle-button. I can't find that specific in a review. I would recommend you go to a big warehouse and look at them, know how they work and how they feel. What is the reason for the mice? can CAD mice work or just standard mice? would a dual-hand solution work? http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/3a4b.php[^] (warning: expensive) The microsoft mice mentioned before have the tilt-wheel, triple middle button (left, right, down).

did you see my link? I actually do have two mice, one 3D CAD mouse and one standard mouse. two handed manipulation, navigation, and control. :) It's great, but expensive, and few people are ambidexterous enough to do it well, so mine is the only one in the company, no one else ever got the hang of it. :) but I love it.

They are traders, so use it for fast entry of particular order in the market. Like a very expensive computer game. :)

no idea. i like the wireless biz. batteries are -supposed- to last a year. And it's nice to be able to pop the mouse on the desktop instead of having it always in the keyboard tray thingy. The scroll wheel feels great, too. There's some weight to it, so you can send it spinning. Not much more than a regular wheel, but it's got that "cool" feeling :) ...Steve
