As a few of you know, I had been interviewing at a few companies outside of LA, because I'm tired of living here. On Friday, I accepted an offer from VMware[^]! :-D They're in Palo Alto[^] so I'll be moving up there and getting settled in before I officially start working there next month. Congratulations! I'm envious actually! Traveled there when I was visiting Cali last year, love the bay area in general. Not that there is anything wrong with Canada but I would love to end up in Cali (especially San Jose.... love that place) one day.

I asked them about that, and they said OSX relies on proprietary extensions to the Intel hardware. VMware would have to reverse-engineer the extensions to make OSX run in their VM.
