 Spare us this please, there are other forums on other sites where this is probably appreciated and encouraged. This is a global community with many different beliefs in the interests of harmony most of us are secure and intelligent enough to keep them out of discussion here unless they are relevant to the topic at hand. There is a forum here specifically for divisive discussion called the soapbox.

Yeah I agree 100%. It's divisive and has no place in this forum under any circumstances.

Downloaded it but currently only accessing the documentations to see if there is anything new to learn in design - normally the reason why I download most of them.;)

Rev. 3:20 - Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice
and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

He is first of all a Savior, but depending on how you open your door and received Him, you have a Father, a Friend, a Partner, a Protector, a Healer etc. It is very easy to tell you are a son, or who your friend is :) Best regards, Paul.

Jesus Christ is LOVE! Please tell somebody.

Paul the soapbox is over there ----> I know you didn't start it but it was completely unnecessary to respond off topic in this forum about it I suggest you reply privately offline to this sort of divisive discussion or move it elsewhere. In terms you can understand, when I see this sort of thing, to me it's probably the equivalent to you as if you saw a post with gay pornographic picture for no apparent reason in the middle of a discussion about .net.

Because I care about this community and have watched it grow for many years and one of it's strengths is it's global nature. Proselytization doesn't belong here, there are many other places that are more appropriate.

MS is just flying along. I would hate to be any kind of management in that business, I am sure many of them do not have a clue which end is up with so many projects all going on at the same time. It is amazing all the great technology that is coming out. So, I downloaded and will play hopefully this week before it gets stuck in a folder for two months :)

Thats not a bad strategy by microsoft. Plant a million trees and hope some of them grow. I think googles doing it too. Who really knows what the next big thing is going to be? It makes the entire spectrum interesting to watch! Tim Yen

I have always wondered where atheists go when they die? With no belief in God there is no belief in heaven or hell. :~ So, does that mean, like in the old joke, that they are all dressed up with no place to go?;P

John, This was only a simple response to a "by the way" inquiry. Without your rant it would hardly have been a blip. That you do not like it, is reasonable, but where in you is the source of your strong reaction? Be Well, Claude

That was by no means a "strong" reaction on my personal scale of reactions to prosyletization. ;)

John, With all due respect. You made it divisive. I read this forum all the time and I see all kinds of off-topic stuff that is either personally offensive to me, or that I just disagree with. But I do the mature thing if I don't want to hear it - ignore it. This is just someone else's discussion that had a little side trail. Ignore it and move on if you don't like it. And don't be hypocritical. Just relax, dude.

Hmmm, it seems to me they are in a dilemma. In soccer, if you have too many talented players, you simply trade some of them to lower cost. Best regards, Paul.

Ok, please explain acropolis to me. I visted the web site and I still scratching my head. Is this the precursor to SilverLight, or a new set of dev tools for it, or something orthogonal? Acropolis is (according to the web site) "a set of components and tools that make it easier for developers to build and manage modular, business focused, client .NET applications" Based on SmartClient, SilverLight, ???
