I don't listen to songs when I code, but Smitha listens to Malayalam songs :-) Oh, actually I do listen to her relentless chatter when I code. I've learned to shut off my ears and at the same time manage to give an "eh" or a "aha" or a "go on" once in a while so she thinks I am listening to her :-) Nish

Besides my own country's Front 242 & Suicide Commando most of them seem to be from Germany :) So tell me which one are the Canadians ?

FLA and Skinny Puppy are Canadian (not 100% sure about Skinny though). But then again, the singer in FLA, Bill Leeb, is Austrian. Sonorked as well: 100.13197 jorgen FreeBSD is sexy.

FLA check Funker Vogt check Rammstein check Front 242 (including lots of remixes of HeadHunter by various bands) John Williams check (also Indiana Jones) And also Soundtrack from Das Boot Das Ich Iron Maiden Sisters of Mercy :WUMPSCUT: Klinik Plastic Noise Experience Project Pitchfork Suicide Commando Imminent Starvation we seem to share a preference for Industrial/Elektro :) PS : My colleagues usually know things are not going well when :WUMPSCUT:'s Totmacher blasts through the speakers, does anyone plays specific music when things go not as well as planned ?

I used to play Pantera songs when I was younger. Now that's anger packed onto a CD. Rage Against The Machine is ok when I'm really pissed (I know; it's pseudo-rap, but the sheer anger in his music is really releaving when I'm pissed). Apoptygma Berzerk also makes great pissed-off-music. Bitch and Deep Red are perfect at times :) Leaether Strip is great when I pissed off beyond all hope. • Front Line Assembly (both pre- and post-[FLA]vour of the weak)
                  • Funker Vogt
                  • Battery (some tribute to Rammstein. This tribute is a f*cking insult! Don't buy this!)
                  • Jean Michel Jarre
                  • Front 242 (from U-men to Animal)
                  • John Williams (Star Wars :)

I just put all of my MP3s on shuffle, and hit play. If there is one that I dont feel like, i hit next. That makes for a very large playlist with everything from the latest Eminem to Ravel's Bolero. -- David Wengier Sonork ID: 100.14177 - Ch00k

FLA and Skinny Puppy are Canadian (not 100% sure about Skinny though). But then again, the singer in FLA, Bill Leeb, is Austrian. Sonorked as well: 100.13197 jorgen FreeBSD is sexy.

Right now I am listening to Kevin Bloody Wilson. :-D (The Aussies are beauts at this kind of thing I tell you) I hope this specification I am writing turns out ok with music like this playing... ;) Otherwise I listen to everything from Rammstein to Moby to Rachmaninov to Seal to U2. Probably best to say what I don't listen to: RAP, R&B and Hip Hop. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and to be loved in return - Moulin Rouge Tim Smith wrote: Over here in the third world of humor (a.k.a.
