Do any of you all know of any decent, easy to use, light-weight, and not over-the-top-on-price change management systems?

Just trying to keep the forces of entropy at bay

If I understood your question correctly, I personally love trac[^]. Its very simple to use. If you are looking for just a revision control system then SVN is pretty good.

My Blog A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. To Clarify: What I am looking for is a workflow type product specifically for creation, and tracking of engineering change requests for software systems.

Define over-the-top? We use 2 systems one is AllChange from Intasoft (cheaper fo the 2 but less flexible) and another is iEnterprise from iET Solutions. Cheers Andrew
