I have recently began my first job as CE 6.0 R&D, and development for such system. We start at 7:00 AM, which is much earlier than I am used to getting up. So, as others in the office have suggested, I have began making use of the never never ending amount of coffee here. I have drank about 3 cups of coffee, at about 12 ounces a cup. How much coffee do the CPians drink on a given day?
no coffee/ tea/ beer/ wine/ cigarettes/ etc

I drink about 6 cups a day with a big 24 oz cup :-D After lunch or so, switch to Dr. Pepper :)

the only coffee that ive had was in Europe, and that was my first cup at the ripe old age of 22. it was ok, but ive seen too many people slaves to morning coffee, so im avoiding it at all costs.

For the curious The Caffeine Database[^] lists caffeine amounts. It's interesting to see that a 44ml espresso has 77mg caffeine, whereas a 237ml drip coffee has 145g caffeine. So I should actually be having doppio's instead of single shots in order to keep up with a standard cup of "coffee" (and I use the term loosely) that's served here.

My all-time favorite wasn't listed.... Mourning Thunder Tea. Black Tea and Matte to match coffee... of course I brewed it double and triple strength through college.... :)

I occasionally get an iced coffee but due to my lactose intolerance, it's not often. I hate hot coffee. I used to drink lots of diet coke, but I'm down to about one 20-ounce bottle a day. A little more on the weekends.

About six, but I make it weak, with lots of sugar. And I don't make it until I get to the office.

0. I've never liked coffee. I used to drink exorbitant amounts of Mountain Dew (lots of caffeine there), but I've since given that up. So, no caffeine in the morning for me no matter how early. Now if you'll pardon me, I'm going to take a nap on my desk. ;)

I find myself resigned to dirnking coffe to stay alert in the morning. Mountain Dew does nothing for me other than give me a 3.47 sec. sugar rush.;P

At the most - two cups in the morning. I go for a run at lunch so I'm pretty good on the caffine.

I used to take a glass of coffee in the morning while going through the Newspaper and then after returning home from office another cup of coffee in home. In the meantime during the office hours at the max i used to take only tea twice ie., by 11 am in the morning and by 4 pm in the evening. so the maximum of 2 coffee and two tea for me per day. And in the weekend also i used to take coffee while i am in residence. Durin summer i will avoid coffee insted i will take tea or some soft drinks like fresh fruit juices and also the pepsi, coke and other juices.

Well, im off the caffeine for about 2 months, but I generally don't drink it through coffee, but through the more refreshing coca-cola :). Many people think im crazy with a nice coke in the morning, but that's the way my body works (basically the reason im "off" coca-cola for 2 months). At most, I'd say 12 cans of coke is possibly the most I have had, but on average, lets see, one in the morning, one between break-lunch, one for lunch, one in the noon, one at dinner, maybe one late at night.. thats 6, yup, thats around it. matadorqk

Huh, but which *type* of coffee? I mean: I only drink 'Italian Espresso' (unfortunately, I'm Italian :sigh:). If I drink any other type, the amount of caffeine (or cadmium? :~ ) is too much lower, and quickly I get headache.... "At my signal, unleash hell!" The Gladiator

My only caffeine is one or two small squares of dark chocolate per day. I drink peppermint tea or water. I start work at 7.30 and usually continue until about 18.00. If I have a (Friday) pint of beer at lunchtime, I get a little sleepy after it. I've had exactly 3 coffees in my life (two at university in the States, one in the former Yugoslavia). My body doesn't need the stuff.

OMG I must be some kinda freaaaaaak!!! :omg: I drink on average 6 to 8 cups a day during the week sometimes that is 9 or 10 and weekends I have at least 3 or 4!! :wtf: Excuss me while I contact Coffee Anonimous!!
Oh, uh, good question. Now technically speaking, uhh, let's say, put me down as a... 'Whatever'?
