Team Lunch :~

Going out for lunch with my team today, I don’t normally enjoy these things, all silly jokes and stupid arguments. Just hoping that it’ll be different this time, fingers crossed. In our team every one is a foodie and they find reasons to go out for lunch or do a birthday bash, so at least twice in a week we have something like this happening. Birthday bashes are good because they will get chocolate cake. I just love those chocolate cakes. ;p So how often do you guys go out with your teams? And do you enjoy these outings?

True. It should be a healthy get-to-gether without getting bogged down by work pressures, without succumbing to any preconcieved notions and prejudices.

People in the office (from where I come from) generaly like to do everything else except work, so all these things are important things to do.

Well I work on a team of 6 developers responsible for about 15 in-house applications and approximately 25 websites so we don't often have time for things like these, but we try to do it at least once a month if possible, then we have 2 yearly team outings (last year was kayaking for the day).

Every Friday morning, except for rare occasions. This morning we just ordered a food delivery, because we had a whole company outing last night for dinner and a show.

Leg-pulling? that sucks! Yeah that sucks when you go out with people whom you dont get sync-ed well. I hate to go out with people whom I don't think would completly match my frequency. If I go, the day gets spoiled. I'll get irritated even if they make a little fun out of me. But, If I'm with people I like the most, whatever they say about me or anything, I'd keep laughing. They keep pulling my legs all day but they also see to that I dont fall down.It never hurts that's cool. And give them a rough pull. That's fun. So it's not a matter with "leg-pulling".. but it's with the people who do it ;) find people of your frequency you'll love it then.
