It's been a hot week, too, and an unusual spring/summer at that. Insanely hot april - which is normally very irish in weather - unpredictable but dominated by rain, end of june/first half of july was what we expect from april. Weather turned from that to insanely hot again last weekend, with an amazing thunderstorm yesterday night. Air conditioning isn't very common here either, for various reasons. So having down the shades, using desk fans, walking barefoot through the office.

I live next to you (Serbia). It's really hot, about 40 as you said. Meteorologist said that refreshing will come on wensday (about 32). How refreshing :).

Inland from Los Angeles it has been 50° on many days since beginning of July.

Same here. Currently 35°, but with absolutely no wind and high umidity %, and no aircon. This year it has rained very little and temperatures have been very high even in winter. Luckily I work from home, so I can dress very comfortably.

it's winter in Brisbane, if that can cheer you up?! ;) and it's quite cold here, at night the temperature drop to 5 degres (I know, it's not cold, but the houses have no insulation around here, I was much better in Paris winter!!!)

I'm in Florida and it been hot as hell here also. High temps and high humidity. And I work in it all day! Whew and its not even August yet! How to deal with it...plenty of liquids! Mike

It's ridiculously cold up here in Sweden. At 2 am this morning, the temperature was at 11C. Brrrr. :(

UK is depressingly miserable with widespread floods yesterday. We had some summer in April but since then almost constant rain with the odd break.

Get up early, 0500, get some work done until around 1000. Lay around in the shade until at least 1600 when the hottest part of the day has passed and finish up your work for the day. It's deadly hot in Atlanta too. Our AC broke down the day before and it was truly horrible for a whole day (they fixed it yesterday fortunately).

This year is being very strange in my country... usually we are at 40 Celsius degrees at this year time, but this year the maximum temperature reached (more or less) hs been 31º. This one is being a very fresh summer. I've been speaking with some of our customers in Denmark, and some providers in Germany and Austria and it seems that this year is being very very hot.

It's cool here about 31C, but it's wet it's been raining steady since April and everything is soaked. We are way over our yearly rainfall total for the year and it's only July.

Hong Kong: hot, humid and horrible! Still the monsoon blows the pollution back to China which only makes it worse as it's too hot to do anything outside, but looks gorgeous all the same. 35C in the day, 30C at night, with humidity so high it probably can get any higher. Oh, did I mention the rain...
