Size of index page for C# General programming http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/ is ~1.1 MB (just HTML). :omg: Is it time to reorganize the section? :~

Mostly, when you see programmers, they aren't doing anything. One of the attractive things about programmers is that you cannot tell whether or not they are working simply by looking at them. Very often they're sitting there seemingly drinking coffee and gossiping, or just staring into space. What the programmer is trying to do is get a handle on all the individual and unrelated ideas that are scampering around in his head. (Charles M Strauss)

Saved as an MHT file -- I came up with 1.88 MB (1,973,256 bytes). :omg: The front page of the web site, by comparison, came up to 166 K.

Probably one of the busiest pages on the site as well.

At least, for Internet Explorer users, CP Team can opt for compressed sending of the file. Isn't it?

AFAIK all the browsers support gzip compression now. I implemented it on one of our asp.net products and tested it with all the major browsers and it works *very* well.

(Sorry everyone else, but i really love C/C++. to me C# is just a re-write of visula basic, which i didn't like when it came out, and still don't like, but get forced to use by idiots who don't understand anything development related.)
