Yes the plant kingdom has some proteins. Nevertheless bad diet is typically seen in vegetarians.

So very true, I am a vegan and unfortuatley see the vast majority of vegetarians eating fish/eggs/cheese/honey, etc. They are not really trying are they ? :-D And most of the rest don't eat a balanced diet either...

:rose: god I thought I was the only one here... can't see the point or logic in being only vegetarian. Bad diet is certainly not restricted to vg*ans - on fact, i would say that most have a better one on the grounds that they at least think about what they're eating a bit more, instead of just stuffing theor faces with whatever's in front of them. Same here - it's good to know there is at least one other :-D.

Very true, vegetarianism is completely pointless and a lot of 'so called' vegetarians eat fish/chicken... what's going on there :~ regards,

Pardon my ignorance, but why is being 'only' vegetarian pointless?

I suppose it depends on your reasons... if your sole reason is for personal health issues I guess it isn't, but if you think you're doing it to alleviate animal suffering then you are turning a blind eye to the immense suffering caused to animals in the transportation and production of non-meat animal products, from leather to lactose. Basically, I think most vegetarians are thinking more about themselves than the animals they purport to love so much. A vegetarian is saying they think it ok for man to exploit animals for his own selfish needs. So they may as well go eat meat too and be done with it.

I see what you're saying. That makes sense, at least when you differentiate why someone is a vegetarian. Thanks.

When animals are domesticated they cease to be animals and become vegetables, the same as any other farm crop.
